I bought a variety of de-stressing merchandise yesterday.  A stress ball (it's actually a "Down With Love" stress ball, it's the only kind they had), a wish token, a book on meditation (and one on Halloween), some tea, some aromatherapy soap, some moon drops (to help me sleep, so far no more nightmares), and a nice scarf with Ganesh and the Om symbol on it. 
Today we went to the library book sale and I got like 20-30 books for $3.  I was scoping for murder mysteries, but ended up getting some self-help and empowerment books as well.  I also picked up several books movies are based off of.  I have a weakness for those.  Cheap paperback murder mysteries are my biggest used book purchases generally; there was one point where I was browsing this section that was approximately half romance and half mystery (weird, I know) when I kept picking up romance books and putting them in disgust and all I could think was "I don't want romance, I want blood."  Which sounds pretty bad, I know but I want to point out that I prefer fun silly sorts of MMs to gory ones.  I did get one that is guaranteed to be gory though, but it was the only Laurence Block book I could find.  I love his Bernie Rhodenbarr series, they are my kind of murder mystery, but I've also picked up a Matthew Scudder mystery and it was unpleasantly gory but also strangely realistic and compelling.  I could see similarites in his writing style, but it was a completely different kind of book, even though it was also a murder mystery.  (The one I picked up was a Matthew Scudder).  So now I have some books to amuse me, which is good because I was getting desperate for distractions from my senior project.  I need silly mysteries to let my mind get tangled up in now and then.

1 Here's a silly mystery for you. Why do I keep having reallly really weird dreams that creep me the hell out? lol. That's a mystery. Btw, only like 24-25 days until your fall break starts . I can't wait for fall break....I miss you so damn much it's ridiculous. And we have no time to talk ever because we're both busy at different times and quite often at the same time. But we're both always busy. And it's completely awful.

2 Oh I have been having weird dreams, too.  I dreamt I was climbing a mountain with Renee and Molly and then my aunt and gramma and I were on a plane to somewhere and I dreamt dad called and said he changed his mind and that he would try to keep in touch with me better.

3 I had a dream that Kelli and I got one of our guy friends drunk and then he proceeded to write a letter declaring his love for me. And then sober he said he meant it all. I was like uhhhh I uhhhh have to think about this bye. Worst part, he's really really weird and Mel and I are pretty sure he's asexual. lol.
